We live in a world that show respect only for power Psa. 74:20. We rule only by power, as the enemies submit only when they see power in manifestation Psa. 66:3,7. The good news is that redemption brings the believer into a life of power Jn. 1:12. The believer only need the understanding of the power channels available to him. One of these power channels is testimony, it is a salient and most neglected channel Psa. 119:111.
Exploring the Power of Testimony?
- The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy.
Every of the act of Jesus in the life of believer is what we refer as the testimony of Jesus. Scriptures make us to understand that such act carries the power of prophecy, which is the capacity to replicate itself in other people’s lives Rev. 19:10.
- Those who believe and receive testimonies experience the power of it.
Testimonies are ordained to be replicated in the lives of others, as stated in point 1 above. Only those who will trigger the power of testimony can experience it. The trigger is to receive and believe the testimony Lk. 1:45; Psa. 119:111.
- The example of the Samaritan woman.
When others heard the testimony of the Samaritan woman’s encounter with Jesus, they believed in Christ Jn. 4:39-42. Her testimony made others to experience the same order of acts of Jesus in their lives.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, by the light of the word I have received, I shall walk in power from today, thereby making to rule in life from now Psa. 66:7.
Action.
Make the choice to be intentional with testimony from now.
Priestly Blessings.
You shall walk in the power of God as a normal experience from now!
Everything in life shall submit to your authority from today!
