The scriptures make us to understand that God’s design for His children is continuous and unstoppable progress Pro. 4:18. This is what is referred to as profitable living, when one is experiencing increase by the day no matter the odd. By the law of life, every increase is a function of input Gal. 6:7. The most profitable input a man can make into life is spiritual labor, which we also refer to as kingdom stewardship 1Tim. 4:7-8. But for the profit of our labor to be delivered, we must possess the right mind or mentality Pro. 23:7.
The Scriptural Mindset a Believer must Possess for Profits in Life.
- We must possess a runner’s mentality.
What is the meaning of a runner’s mentality and its significance to profitable kingdom stewardship?
- The scriptures make us to understand that life in God’s kingdom is a race, and not joke or fun Heb. 12:1-2; Php. 3:13-14. In a race, only runners are entitled to emerge as winners and qualify for rewards 1Cor. 9:24.
- Every vision is a work ordained by God with the promise of reward when accomplished Gen. 12:1-3. Kingdom stewardship is a divine assignment to every believer Mat. 28:19-20. But to see a vision become accomplished, there is the demand a run by the believer Hab. 2:1-3.
- In every race, it takes the combination of discipline, dedication and sacrifice to successfully run and emerge as a winner 1Cor. 9:24-27; 2Tim. 2:3-6. In essence, every believer that will be profitable in kingdom stewardship must take practical steps in his pursuit.
The believer has no reason to experience the life of stagnation, frustration or losses. By a commitment to kingdom stewardship, and engaging the mentality of a runner will always make profits to answer to him life irrespective of the situation in the physical.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, by the blood of Jesus purge my heart of everything that has robbed me of my due reward, and make my heart new for profitable service from today Heb. 9:14.
Action.
Appraise your discipline, dedication and sacrificial engagement in your stewardship.
Priestly Blessings.
I decree your profit shall be testified to by all from today!
Your increase and progress in life shall be unstoppable from this day!
