Memory verse:
“And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?”
“It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:”
“But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.” – Mk. 4:32.
Every child of God is ordained a giant, with the capacity of making global impact Mat. 5:13-16. Though, we all have this potential, but only the dedicated will rise to become a giant in reality. This is because dedication to God and His kingdom is identified in scripture as the covenant requirement to emerge a giant Mk. 4:30-32.
Scriptural Example of Dedication-made Giant.
- The Example of Moses.
Moses was a dedicated individual to God; he exhibited this by being sold out to God’s course. These are some of the ways he exemplified this:
- He had an unparalleled passion to see God’s people liberated from the house of bondage, to the point of putting his life at risk 2:11-12.
- Moses took his life in his hand, went to confront Pharaoh face to face at the command of God to lead Israelite out of Egypt 3:7-10; 4:21-22.
- Moses won’t allow God to destroy the Israelite; he was willing to give his life in exchange for their error 32:31-33.
Moses ended up as one of the most outstanding prophets of all times Num. 12:1,6,10; Deu. 34:7,10-12.
