One thing that is becoming an established way of life in the winners’ family is the pursuit of souls for Christ. This has become the focus over some years now in a customized manner packaged as operations. This drive is scriptural, soul winning is the assignment Christ left the church with after His resurrection, with the instruction that believers are to occupy with it till He comes back Lk. 19:13. The challenge is that believers seem not to be motivated enough, because they have misconstrued it as a game by the church leaders to build a large congregation. This gives the perspective of them being used to pursue the personal agenda of a man. It is the devil’s deceit because soul-winning is a rescue mission – to secure individuals from impending destruction 2Pet. 3:9.
Scriptural Perspectives that Motivate for Soul Winning.
- Soul-winning Guarantees Health and Vitality.
Winning souls for Christ is being a fruitful believer; this commits God to total wellbeing of that believer, which results in his healthy living Jn. 15:1-2. Also, it is essential serving God’s interest, which entitles believers to sound heath 2Cor. 5:17-20; Pro. 13:17; Exo. 23:25-26.
- Soul-winning Empowers for the Supernatural.
Soul-winning makes believers enjoy the working presence of God in their lives Mat. 28:19-20. This empowers believers to command the supernatural Mk. 16:15-16,20; Lk. 9:1-2,6,
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, empower me by the Holy Spirit for aggressive, effective, and tireless soul-winning engagement, and cause every convert to abide in the faith and this church Acts 1:8.
Action.
Put together a team of like-minded believers for strong soul-winning engagement.
Priestly Blessings.
There shall be massive salvation of souls in the remaining days of Operation Rescue!
No one ordained for salvation in this season shall escape becoming saved!
