The scriptures make us to understand that new birth brings the believer into a life with great promises or inheritance 2Pet. 1:3-4; Acts 20:32. These great heritage are detailed in God’s word, but can only be enjoyed to the extent that the believer’s eyes are opened to see them Gen. 13:14-15; Jer. 1:11-12; 2Cor. 3:18.

What are Our Breakthrough Heritage as Contained in God’s Word.

  1. By redemption, we are fruitful vines.

Redemption brings the believer into the blessing of God, which empowers him to be supernaturally fruitful Gal. 3:13-14,29; Deu. 7:14. In essence, the believer has the heritage of all-round supernatural fruitfulness, and has nothing to do with bareness Psa. 128:1-5; Isa. 5:1-13.

  • By redemption, we are lively stones.

At new birth, the believer is translated into a new creation, one of the description of our new creation is a ‘lively stone’ 1Pet. 2:5. As a lively stone, scriptures make us to understand that the believer is ordained for dominion Mat. 21:42-44.

  • By redemption, we are now ambassadors of Christ.

At new birth, the believer status was upgraded from a mere personality to an ambassador; the ambassador of Christ 2Cor. 5:20. As an ambassador of Christ, the believer’s right is now to enjoy the dignity and honor on Christ Jn. 17:18; 20:21.

  • By redemption, we are seed of Abraham for generational impact.

The scriptures show us that new birth turns the believer to a seed of Abraham, this entitles him to the blessings of Abraham Gal. 3:13-14,29. One vital effect of Abraham’s blessing is greatness and influence that transcend generations’ Gen. 22:17-18.

How to Access our Breakthrough Heritage.

  1. One must continue to walk in the Spirit.

God is a Spirit, every of His provisions are accessible only to those that will walk in the realm of the Spirit Gal. 5:25; Rev. 1:10-11. Walking in the Spirit means to live in continuous fellowship and contact with the person of the Holy Spirit, this demands doing what pleases God always Jn. 8:29.

  1. One must remain committed to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit knows all things, when the believer follows His guidance, he has the guarantee of access to great profits as ordained for his life Isa. 48:17-18; Psa. 32:8. In essence, to gain access to his great heritage, the believer must commit to following the leading of the Holy Spirit, and refuse to depend on self Pro. 3:5-6.

In conclusion, the scriptures make us to understand life is determined by decisions; who we are now and who each of us will be is a function of our decision Deu. 30:19. Anyone can change the story of his life, simply by a decision to become a partaker of the heritage of Christ Rms. 8:16-17.

To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for

Prayer:

  1. Father in the name of Jesus, I make the choice to be a partaker of the heritage of life of the Spirit in Christ Jesus Deu. 30:19.
  2. Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the grace for the responsibility required; thereby making me to experience the fullness of my inheritance in Christ from today Acts 20:32.
