The scriptures make it clear what makes the difference between two people in life is wisdom Mat. 7:24-27. What makes for the difference between the experiences of two believers who are probably attending same church, under same pastor is the wisdom at work in them. Our God is the God of all wisdom, who gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to men of understanding Dan. 2:21; Jms. 1:5.

What is Divine Wisdom?

  1. Divine wisdom is the ‘pure gift’ of God to all His children.

Divine wisdom is not a product of mere exertion or labor, but a gift from God. In essence, it is what cannot be acquired in any other way than God giving it to a man Mat. 11:29; Pro. 13:22. Everyone in scriptures that operated in divine wisdom testified that it was given to them by God.

Scriptural Examples of men Divine Wisdom.

  1. Joseph.

He pointed to God as the source of the wisdom at work in him, which Pharaoh and all Egypt said there was none like it Gen. 41:15-16,38-44.

  1. Solomon, the king.

The scriptures make it clear that it was God who gave Solomon the wisdom he operated in, which turned him into fortune and honor 1Kgs. 3:5-12; 4:29-30.

  1. Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

The four Hebrew boys operated divine wisdom, which made them to be ten times better than their colleagues, and this was given to them by God Dan. 1:17,20; 2:21-23,32.

  1. Paul.

Paul operated in divine wisdom that made other apostles to be stunned, and God is identified as the one that gave Paul the wisdom 2Pet. 3:15; Eph. 3:8-11.

Access to Divine Wisdom.

The gifts of God are available to all, but there are requirements that will make a believer to become qualified and gain access. What are some of these requirements?

  1. The fear of God.

God is not stingy with His wisdom, rather is eager to lavish it on His children who wills satisfy the requirements Jms. 1:5. Fundamental in these requirements is the fear of God Psa. 111:10; Pro. 9:10. The fear of God means hatred for evil, sin and all that God hates, which makes one to run from such Pro. 8:13; 14:16; 16:6.  Every of the scriptural examples that operated in divine wisdom had the fear of God at work in them. An example is Joseph Gen. 41:38-44; 42:18.

  • The prayer of enquiry.

Access to divine wisdom is for those who sees their need for it and will place a demand specifically for it Jms. 1:5. Every of the scriptural examples that operated in divine wisdom had to ask God for it. An example is Daniel Dan. 2:16-19; 10:1-10.

In conclusion, God’s wisdom is the believers access to the world of glory ordained for him on the earth 2Pet. 1:3; 1Cor. 2:6-7. When this wisdom of God comes on an individual, everything about him takes a total turnaround for enviable glory. But God has the sole right to it, and only those who qualify for it, will have it given to them by God.

To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for

Prayer.

  1. Father in the name of Jesus, by your Spirit cause your fear to rule my life from today, thereby making me to be qualified for the gift of divine wisdom Psa. 111:10.
  2. Father in the name of Jesus, everything in my life that disqualify me of the gift of divine wisdom is taken off now by the blood of Jesus Heb. 9:14.
  3. Father in the name of Jesus, release on me the gift of divine wisdom, and cause me to experience your glory in all areas of my life form today Jms. 1:5.
  4. Father in the name of Jesus, by the operation of divine wisdom, every force of wickedness shall submit to me from today Job 28:20-22.
