God’s will for His children is supernatural recovery of all the enemy has destroyed, stolen, and denied his access to in life (1Sam. 30:6-9,17-18). Recovery, among others, includes: time (Eph. 5:16), opportunities (Gen. 12:1; 11:31), redemptive rights, and inheritances in Christ such as health, riches, glory etc. (Rev. 5:12; Jer. 30:17). Interestingly, the Holy Spirit came to give double for our shame as believers (Isa. 61:7).

Covenant demands for Recovery.

1. Be Genuinely Born Again.

Christ came purposely to return man back to Eden, thereby bringing man back to God’s original plan and purpose for his life on the earth (Jn. 10:10). This means that salvation is the first and non-negotiable step for recovery (Rms. 3:23; 8:29-30).

2. Crave for Revelation in Areas of Concern.

After salvation, believers are limited to experiencing only the things they have seen or revealed from God’s Word (Gen. 13:14-15). This means that a craving for revelation concerning one’s right in the area of interest is a must to experience recovery (Psa. 105:17-22; Job 14:7-9).

3. Commit to Serving God.

Serving God invokes His favor, which in turn makes for recovery of all that a believer desires (2Chr. 15:3-6,12-15; Psa. 34:10).

4. Commit to Seeking and Praying for the Well-Being of Others.

The law of seed time and harvest covers all aspects of life on the earth including supernatural recovery (Gen. 8:22). When one is committed to seeking, particularly through prayer, the well-being of others, everything lost would be recovered supernaturally (Job 42:10-12; Pro. 28:27; Eph. 6:8).

5. Engage the Ministry of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit has the mission among others to facilitate the recovery of what a believer has lost (Isa. 61:4-7; Joel 2:23-27,28). One guaranteed way to secure the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to engage the prayer altar to demand it (Zch. 10:1; Lk. 11:13).

Conclusion.

In the world, it is popularly said that, an opportunity lost is gone forever.  In the kingdom, we serve the God of recovery, who gives His children the opportunity for recovery of whatever was lost; this gives believers an advantage in life. But this is a product of God’s covenant, which means to enjoy it, we need an understanding of the covenant demands and compliance with them (Psa. 89:34).

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

1. Father, endow me with the grace for compliance and walk in the covenant of recovery from today (1Cor. 15:10).
2. Father, in the name of Jesus, I command the recovery of lost time, lost opportunities, and every inheritance in Christ that the enemy has stolen right now (Job 22:28).
