We need to possess the right mindset to make our labor in the kingdom productive and profitable (Pro. 23:7; 4:23). This simply means that the kind of mind matters to how effectively a believer functions and is rewarded in kingdom stewardship. The mind defines the faith and expectation of a believer; these are vital forces that make believer’s effort fruitful and with returns of dividends (Phm. 1:14). What are the prescribed mindsets for believers in stewardship?
Scriptural Mentality for Stewardship to Deliver Blessing.
- We must Possess an Investor’s Mentality.
Scripture identifies kingdom stewardship as business; it is doing business for heaven on earth (Lk. 2:49). Every correct investment made in business guarantees returns of profit – this is what every engagement in kingdom advancement is: investment with returns of profits. The good news is that investments into kingdom business promise zero loss, but profits beyond any earthly business (1Tim. 4:7-8; Mat. 6:33). An investment mindset or dividend consciousness of kingdom stewardship will empower a believer’s commitment to tireless engagement (1Cor. 9:10).
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, I receive the help of the Holy Spirit for effective and rewarding kingdom advancement engagement (Acts 26:22).
Action.
Determine the profitable life you desire, and identify investments to make it happen.
