Memory verse:
“Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.”
– Deu. 2:3.
Who we know and understand God to be, is how we will experience Him in our life as individuals Psa. 91:14. For instance, many know God is the source of all blessings but He is slow. This understanding may make them experience God’s blessings, but delivery often will suffer delay. A fundamental understanding every believer must possess is that we serve the ever forward leading God Exo. 14:15-16; Isa. 48:17-19. This implies that when God leads, the only one direction the person is heading and is forward or upward. There are responsibilities to every kingdom provision, for forward movement is revelation 2Cor. 3:18. Revelation simply means being able to see what God is saying in His word concerning any area of interest in our lives Psa. 119:18; Col. 1:9.
Demands for Accessing Revelation from God’s Word.
- Through the Study of the Word.
The revelation we need to move forward is in the bible; it is by seeking that anyone can access revelation Mat. 7:7-8. This implies that every believer who desires to go forward in life must be committed to searching by study of the word until he finds 2Tim. 2:15; Jer. 15:16; Pro. 24:13-14.
- Through Prayer and Fasting to Destroy the Veil of Covering.
Satan robs God’s children of their blessings through spiritual blindfold or a covering cast over their sight 2Cor. 3:14; 4:4. This prevents believers from seeing the things reserved for them by God, it denies them of taking delivery Gen. 13:14-15. Prayer and fasting are the tools for destroying satanic coverings and blindfold Isa. 58:6,8.
