The Significance of Following Divine Guidance.
- For Empowerment for Change of Levels.
The believer is ordained for a life of continuous change of levels and story Pro. 4:18; 2Cor. 3:18. Life becomes a burden and an experience of frustration when it lacks upward change. Following divine leading is what empowers believers for change of story Psa. 23:1,6.
- For God’s Goodness and Mercy to Become Believers Daily Experience.
Goodness means excellent experience through righteousness, while mercy means compassion and forgiveness that upturns punishment to reward. These are designed to be the experience of every child of God always, irrespective of the situation or environment Psa. 23:6; Hab. 3:2. God’s goodness and mercy answer only to those who follow divine leading Psa. 23:1,6; Isa. 48:21.
God is committed to lead His children Heb. 13:5; Psa. 32:8. The challenge is with believers being committed to follow God’s leading Num. 32:11; 2Cor. 10:6.
Benefits of Following Divine Direction.
Knowing the benefits of doing a thing will motivate commitment naturally Heb. 12:2.
- It Enhances our Level of Command of the Supernatural.
Our level of command of the supernatural defines the level of our result in life Heb. 11:3. Following divine direction secures God’s presence, which is the master key to the supernatural world Isa. 45:1-3; Gal. 2:8.
- It Secures Access to Supernatural Blessings.
God’s blessings answer to believer’s who walk in divine direction Isa. 48:17-21; Deu. 28:1-14. One doesn’t need to pray for God’s blessing again, it answers automatic as we follow God’s leading.
- It Endues with Supernatural Strength.
Strength is vital for believers who desire a fulfilled life; it enables them to put on the armor of God, and to command great results Eph. 6:10; Dan. 11:32. The believer has guarantee of supernatural strength as he follows divine direction Jdg. 6:14; Pro. 24:10; Eph. 3:16.
Conclusion.
Misdirection can make life to become most challenging, if not at the risk of death Jn. 14:12; 16:25. One wrong step or decision in life could be too costly a price to pay, with irrecoverable consequences in some situations. This is why we need to be meek, because God only guides the meek Psa. 25:9; Mat. 5:5.
Salvation Prayer.
To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”
Prayer.
- Father, baptize me with the Spirit of meekness, thereby grant me unhindered access to divine guidance Psa. 25:9.
- Father, cause me to hear your voice of guidance from today, and by your Spirit, I receive the enablement to always respond prompt Isa. 50:4.
