The dominion of believers is not in doubt because the scripture says it; the challenge is that of accepting responsibility to make it a reality in our lives Psa. 110:1-3; 82:5-7. The responsibility is that of understanding the kingdom weapons, the skill required, and engaging them for our dominion 2Cor. 10:3-4; Psa. 18:34.

One of the Weapons for Dominion Over Sickness and Disease.

  1. The Prophetic Mantle.

The word “Mantle” is taken directly from the account of Elijah’s translation to heaven in a chariot of fire, while Elisha looked on 2Kgs. 2:1,8-15. A prophetic mantle is any clothing material taken from an anointed one, which carries along with it the anointing upon such individual Psa. 45:7-8; Acts 19:11-12; 2Cor. 12:12. This anointing resting on the clothing material is available to anyone who desires and fulfils the condition 2Kgs. 2:15; Lk. 8:40-48.

How the Prophetic Mantle Empowers for Dominion Over Sickness and Disease.

  1. It is the Spiritual Platform for Transference of Virtue.

The virtue empowers believers who receive it for dominion over the challenges of life, sickness and disease inclusive 2Kgs. 2:8,12-14.

  1. It Invokes the Manifestation of Special Miracles.

The anointing resting on the prophetic mantle empowers believers to make signs, wonders, and miracles that are ordinarily above his capacity happen, which are at the carrier’s level Acts 19:11-12.

The prophetic mantle is not a magic wand; it is an instrument of power ordained to extend the impact of an anointed one Mat. 9:20-23; 14:34-36. This realm of manifestation is reserved for the High Priestly offices, which is purely by election of grace, not of spiritual maturity or experience Psa. 133:1-3; Heb. 5:1-4,5-6. Today, apostles and prophets represent the high priestly office of the Old Testament Eph. 2:19-20.

Requirements to Experience the Flow and Partake of the Wonders in the Prophetic Mantle.

1. Receive the Person of the Carrier.

It is only the anointed one that we receive that his virtue and anointing can flow to us Mat. 10:41; 2Kgs. 4:8-17.

2. Believe in the Ministry of the Carrier.

The anointed that we believe in his ministry as sent by God to us, is one we can partake of the virtue he carries 2Chr. 20:20; Mk. 6:4-6.

3. Recognize the Carrier Occupies a Higher Place than You by Grace of Election.

Like water, the anointing and spiritual virtue can flow only from a higher vessel to a lower one Heb. 7:7; Mat. 5:5.

4. Honor the Carrier in your Heart.

Honor from the heart is a must to partake of what an anointed carries Mk. 6:4; Isa. 29:13.

5. Crave for the Flow of What the Carrier Carries.

Every release and flow of virtue answers to a genuine thirst of the soul 2Kgs. 2:4,6,9; Pro. 27:18-19; Isa. 41:17-20; Jn. 7:37-39. God is solely responsible for the transfer of virtue, and He does it on the thirsty only Isa. 44:3-5; 1Cor. 12:7. This means, no one becomes entitled to impartation of spiritual gifts, except with a genuine thirst Psa. 63:1-3; Rms. 1:11.

Conclusion.

The testimonies from this commission is an indication of the anointing, virtue, and the power of God at work on the Apostle over the commission, Bishop David Oyedepo. Any of these testimonies that we desire is deliverable, we only need to position for the flow of the anointing in our direction and life.

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

  1. Father, by the power of the prophetic mantle, I partake of every grace, virtue, and anointing on this commission for my dominion over sicknesses and diseases right now and forever 2:13.
