To those in the world, love is a feeling and emotion, but love in the kingdom is a covenant force and it is the strongest 1Cor. 13:13. With the love of God at work, great things are bound to begin to happen on their own accord, this is what is referred to as breakthrough Rms. 8:28; 1Cor. 2:9. All believers have this virtue of love within us; the challenge is that most have not cared to show or engage with this treasure Exo. 4:1-5; 2Tim. 1:6-7.

What is Love (Love for God)?

  1. It is God-First Lifestyle.

Where God and His kingdom takes the priority even over oneself Mat. 22:36-40. True love for God is not just in word but right action 1Jn. 3:18.

What is in Love that Engenders Breakthrough?

  1. Love makes Believers One with God.

When a believer is truly in love, he is in God and God is in him 1Jn. 4:16; Eph. 3:17-19. When this happens, the individual has become a breakthrough personality who nothing is able to withstand, stop, or successfully challenge Rms. 8:31.

  1. Love Turns Believers to Sold-Out Servants of God.

Genuine love for God makes believer an addict to God and His kingdom, which is what we refer to as being sold-out Mk. 10:28-30; 3:14; Php. 3:7-14. Every God addict commands supernatural breakthrough naturally Acts 19:14-15; Rms. 8:35-39.

  1. Love Empowers for Unusual Results.

Every true love of God is empowered to deliver unusual result that turns the person into a pathfinder, pacesetter, and trailblazer 1Cor. 2:9

  1. Love Turns Mere Individuals into Living Wonders.

Staying in love with God end up making a living wonder of a believer 1Sam. 13:14; Acts 13:22. Every giant in scripture had humble beginning, but rise to their enviable status with the love of God Rms. 15:4; 1Cor. 10:11; Heb. 6:12.

Proofs of True Love.

  1. Commitment to the Study of God’s Word.

True love for God is validated by being committed to God’s word in hearing, study, and meditation Psa. 119:97,162.

  1. Commitment to the Practice of God’s Word.

Love for God moves believer to do whatever God says 1Jn. 5:3; Jn. 14:21; Lk. 6:16.

Examples of Love-Made Breakthrough Personalities in Scripture.

  1. David.

David was a man with a heart for God 1Sam. 13:14; 17:45-50. He emerged as most celebrated king of Israel till date 1Sam. 18:6; Acts 2:29-31; Rev. 3:7.

  1. Peter.

Peter was an addicted lover of God, the only disciple who could dare to follow when Jesus was arrested Mat. 26:31-35,56,58. He enjoyed unusual breakthroughs, and emerged a celebrated apostle of Christ Lk. 5:3-11; Gal. 2:8.

Conclusion.

God designed every person for unstoppable progress, until we appear at the top Pro. 4:18. How to experience this is to accept responsibility.

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

  1. Father, in the name of Jesus, baptize me with the Spirit of love, thereby turn me to a breakthrough personality from today 5:5.
