Christianity without power is an empty religion that is unattractive 1Cor. 4:20. It takes the manifestation of power to continuously experience the change of levels and turnaround that redemption promises Pro. 4:18; Lk. 10:17-19. Faith is the trigger for the release of God’s power Lk. 1:45; Jn. 11:40; Psa. 63:1-2. This is why faith consistently delivers good reports and proofs Heb. 11:2; Jn. 10:37.
What is Faith?
- Faith is not a religious ideology, but a spiritual mystery.
A mystery is a truth with deeper understanding and blessing than its literal meaning. Faith is a mystery that gives believers access to the spiritual realm, allowing them to command the physical 1Tim. 3:9; Heb. 11:11. It is mysterious because one merely agrees with God and takes corresponding action, but the impact goes deeper than the physical action.
- Faith is a spiritual weapon.
Faith is a substance that one holds in the spirit realm, and it is a weapon of warfare Eph. 6:16. This means that when a believer claims to have faith, and cannot point to the weapon he holds, the faith is wake.
- Faith is not a belief system, but an engagement with the power of God.
A belief system refers to the principles that form the basis of a religion, philosophy, or moral code. Faith serves as a trigger for the power of God 1Cor. 2:4-5.
How Powerful is Faith?
- One of the Principal Mysteries of the Kingdom.
The mysteries of God’s kingdom manifests God’s power that oppositions cannot confront Eph. 3:3-10. Faith is not only one of the mysteries but a principal one that delivers unusual power 1Tim. 3:19; 2Pet. 1:5-10.
- It Defines Each Person’s Outcome.
In God’s kingdom, it is to each person according to his faith Mat. 9:29; Hab. 2:4. This means that each person’s faith determines their outcome and experience.
- It is Behind Every Great Story in the Kingdom.
Every great story in the kingdom is a product of grace 1Cor. 15:10; Zch. 4:1,4,6. Grace functions and delivers only through the power of faith Eph. 2;8; Heb. 11:23-34; Dan. 6:23.
- It Makes Life Whole.
Faith invokes the healing power of God that makes whole Lk. 8;40-48; Mat. 14:36.
How to Keep Your Faith Growing.
- Crave Understanding of Testimonies of Others.
Testimonies are faith booster; understanding them ignites our faith Rev. 12:11; Isa. 8:16,20; Psa. 119:111,140.
- Beware of Other Gods.
Anything that controls the heart becomes the god of a person’s life Pro. 23;6; Mat. 6:21. To build faith, ensure there are no other gods beside the living God Psa. 62:5; 16:4; Exo. 20:4-5.
Conclusion.
Whatever your situation, it can turn to glory now by accepting the responsibility to build your faith.
Salvation Prayer.
To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”
Prayer.
- Father, I receive the help of the Holy Spirit to keep my faith growing, making my walk in God’s word a reality from now on 9:24.

Outstanding success is the birthright of every believer Deu. 28:13; Mat. 5:13-14. Just like a baby-elephant carries the genes of ‘bigness’, so, every believer carries the genes of success. The baby-elephant must be subjected to the demands that make the big size actualized. Thus, every believer who will actualize his heritage of outstanding success must […]
Success is not by luck; it is by covenant that operates by the laws of success Jos. 1:8. We serve a covenant keeping God, not a Father Christmas God Psa. 89:34; Mat. 20:1-9. This means that anyone can dare to succeed, simply by understanding and committing to the laws. Illustration: There was an African-American athlete […]
Success is not a native of any land, race, tribe or nation, neither is it an alien to any; the same goes for failure Col. 3:11; Gal. 3:28; Acts 10:35.36. Anyone can succeed if only he knows what it takes and applies himself to the demands Jos. 1:8. Success is not cheap; it is at […]
Success is the birthright of every true believer, but to actualize this involves certain demands Mat. 5:13-14; Jn. 21:5-6.
