Memory verse:
“He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.” Pro. 10:5.
We have said that scriptures often likened kingdom life to the field of farming Mat. 13:36-43. Every farmer has a barn or storehouse where the harvest is kept and guaranteed preservation. In the same manner, the church is the spiritual storehouse, where souls harvested can only be preserved Mal. 3:10. Believers like farmers are expected to bear lasting fruits, this is as they are gathered and made to abide in church Jn. 15:1-2,16. It is why gathering our harvest into the church is a must.
The Significance of the Spiritual Storehouse (Church) in Kingdom Harvest.
- For the Realization of the Inheritance of New Converts in Christ.
New birth makes believers qualify to enjoy God’s blessings, often referred to as inheritance in Christ Acts 20:32. These inheritances will not automatically become a reality, they have to be enforced Mat. 11:12. The mystery is, the kingdom provisions that enforces these inheritances reside in the church Heb. 12:22-24. Some of these include the following.
i) The church is the center of illumination.
Our God is light, this is most intense in the church His place of residence 1Jn. 1:5; Psa. 50:2. This light is what believers contact in church, which empowers the delivery of our inheritances in Christ Psa. 73:17; Gen. 13:14-15.
ii) The church is where God opens our eyes.
In the church is the ministry of teaching priests, designed to open believer’s eyes of understanding 2Chr. 15:3; Isa. 30:20-21. When the eyes of understanding open, believers take delivery of their inheritance Jer. 1:11-12.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, by the help of the Holy Spirit, every soul God gives me this year shall become established in the faith and the church Jn. 15:16.
Action.
Identify every of your convert yet to appear in church, and go after them against Sunday.
Priestly Blessings.
Every of your convert this year shall find their way to the church come Sunday!
Your labor in the kingdom shall not be a waste again!
