Memory verse:
“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”
- 15:16.
New birth brings the believer into God’s kingdom with the promise of abundant life Jn. 10:10. But there is the demand of scripture to experience the promised abundant life, this is commitment to reconciling the unsaved to God 2Cor. 5:17-20. The souls reconciled must abide with God, before the believer is considered to have accomplished the task Jn. 15:16. This is why it is important that we get the converts into the church.
The significance of ingathering of our converts into the church.
- For the realization of our convert’s inheritance in Christ.
New birth promises great inheritance for the believer 2Pet. 1:3; Acts 20:32. A commitment of the new convert to the church is important for him to experience these inheritances in reality. Check out these things about the church:
- The church is ordained as the place of revelation, which empowers the believer to for delivery of their inheritance in Christ 73:16-17; Acts 20:28. In essence, the more committed a convert is, the more of his inheritance he will enjoy.
- The church is the place where God has placed his anointed teaching priests, with the mission to open the eyes of understanding of the saints 15:3-5; Isa. 30:20-21. When this is done, the convert accesses his inheritance Gen. 13:14-15.
- The church is where the blessings of redemption are distributed 65:4; 132:13-15. Every convert that commits to regular attendance in church, enjoys quicker access to his desired testimonies in life.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, endue me with the grace to labor that every of my converts shall be gathered into the church and become established in the faith Jn. 15:16.
Action.
Go after fresh souls for Christ today.
