The challenge with some believers is giving heed to the instruction of God for the life of the kingdom we received at salvation Deu. 28:1-2. While some don’t give attention at all, majority’s miss out on details, which is essential for complete obedience 2Cor. 10:6. God’s outstanding instruction to His children is to reconcile the unsaved to Him 2Cor. 5:17-20; Mk. 16:15-16; Mat. 28:19-20. But we are not only called to bear fruits of souls, but to ensure the souls abide in the faith Jn. 15:16. This is the reason why getting our converts into the church is vital.

The significance of ingathering of our converts into the church.

1. To see them established in the faith.

The spiritual activities essential to make a new convert in Christ become established in the faith takes place in the church. Some of these spiritual activities are:

4. God satisfies believers with the goodness of His house as they gather there 65:4. These will make the convert’s life to experience dramatic turnaround, which will encourage them to abide Pro. 10:22; Psa. 132:13-15.
5. The church is the spiritual storehouse, where our converts must be received for us to qualify for God’s rewards 15:16; 4:35-36. The manifestation of God’s rewards encourages the converts to abide in God.

• The New Testament church is the city of refuge for the redeemed 20:2; Heb. 12:22-24. As the believer commits to the church, the wicked is not permitted to touch him, making our converts to abide in the church and ultimately become rooted in God.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, endue me with the grace to labor that every of my converts shall be gathered into the church and become established in the faith Jn. 15:16.

Action.

Do an assessment of your kingdom engagement, to see how many of your converts this year are established in the faith.
