Memory verse:

“Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’S side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.”                          Exo. 32:26.

Life has two sides basically to which every man must belong, either consciously or unconsciously. The scriptures present these as; the blessing and curse or life and death sides Deu. 30:19. A man can belong only to one of the sides per time, one cannot be on both sides or on the fence. The blessing or life side is the God’s side, and it is the ever-winning side of life Num. 14:7-10,28-32. It is important that one makes conscious decision on the side to which he belongs and maintain it.

Biblical proofs of being on God’s side.

  1. A lifestyle of passion for souls.

Man’s soul is the most important to God on the earth; He willingly gave His only begotten Son in exchange for the soul of man Mat. 26:16; Jn. 3:16. Therefore, the evidence that one is on God’s side is passion for unsaved souls, which will make one able to part with all he has in order to see souls saved Mat. 13:44-46.

Giants in scripture who were on God’s side made through passion for souls.

Abraham had passion for the souls of men. He went after the redemption of the men of Sodom and Gomorrah when they were taken captive at the risk of his life Gen. 14:14-20. Again, he pleaded with God for their ‘salvation’ when the two cities were to be destroyed Gen. 18:17-23.

  1. Paul the Apostle,

Paul was an addict to salvation of lost souls; he goes to any extent to see the unsaved receive salvation 1Cor. 9:16; Rms. 1:16.
