Memory verse:
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Heb. 11:6.
We serve the ‘rewarder’ God, the God that rewards diligent service Heb. 11:6; Rev. 22:12. Our labor for God and the interest of His kingdom is what qualify the believer for the rewards of God Pro. 14:23; 1Cor. 3:8. But it is one thing to be qualified for God’s reward and a different thing to take delivery of the rewards in reality Eph. 1:3. The challenge with many believers is that knowing what to do or where to stand to take delivery of the rewards that have accrued to them by their labor for God and His kingdom 1Kgs. 19:9,11.
Covenant positioning for delivery of our due rewards.
- Be found on duty serving the Lord.
The rewards of God for the believer is on ly delivered when God comes with the rewards Rev. 22:12. But when He comes, there is the demand to meet the believer still at his duty post, doing the assignment God has given him Mat. 24:45-47. When the believer wanders away from the assignment, he is at the risk of losing his rewards due to him Lk. 12:45-46. Therefore, we need the grace of continuity in our kingdom commitment Acts 26:22.
- Ensure that our fruits abide.
There is the demand of our fruits, which refers to the souls won for Christ, to abide in God by their establishment in the church for us to take practical delivery of our rewards Jn. 15:16. Therefore, we must keep going after our new converts to see them turned into active disciples of Christ, then our rewards will be delivered.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive grace for continuity in my stewardship to the point of the delivery of my rewards Acts 26:22.
Action.
Get after all your converts for this year, to ascertain they are in the faith and the church.
Priestly Blessings.
I curse every force contesting for the life of any of your converts now!
Your due rewards for your labor for God shall be delivered without fail!
