Memory verse:
“If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.” Ecc. 11:3.
When the believer has the perspective that God will always do whatever He says or promised, but he has a part to play to make God’s promise come true, we call it covenant mentality Jer. 33:20-21,25-26. This is the mentality a believer must have to maximize his kingdom life Pro. 23:7. It is the mentality that makes the believer steadfast in his kingdom stewardship, which will result in his enjoying rewards 1Cor. 15:58.
Scriptural understanding to build a covenant mentality.
- Soul winning is kingdom labor with great rewards.
Soul winning is identified as the kingdom labor with the greatest reward Jn. 4:36; Mat. 16:26. Our faithful engagement guarantees practical returns as we are due and the impact is in all areas of life Jms. 5:4.
- Endurance is a demand to make our kingdom labor deliver rewards.
Endurance is a non-negotiable requirement for anyone who desires to win the prize in a race 2Cor. 9:24. The kingdom life is a race, which makes endurance core to getting at the rewards available to the believer Heb. 12:1-2; 6:12.
- Our God is faithful.
Faithfulness means the quality of being committed no matter the situation and odds Mat. 24:45-46. We serve the faithful God, when we are due for rewards by reason of our labor, we shall not be denied Gal. 6:9.
