Memory verse:
“If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be” – Ecc. 11:3.
The understanding of God and His ways define believers’ outcome in life Psa. 91:14. Often, God introduces Himself to people in scriptures in order to help them gain the understanding essential for developing the relationship required with Him Gen. 22:13-14; Exo. 3:14. A fundamental understanding of God for believers is that God is a God of covenant Psa. 89:34. A covenant mentality will enhance believers’ consistency, tireless engagement, and reward consciousness in stewardship 1Cor. 15:58.
How Credible and Reliable is God’s Covenant?
- God’s Covenant is Eternally binding.
The covenant of God is binding on all issues, because His covenant is tied to the day and the night Psa. 119:89. It means only the things that can alter the exchange of day and night has the power to disrupt God’s covenant from delivery Jer. 33:20-21.
- God abides faithful.
Our God is a faithful God, He cannot deny Himself Num. 23:19; 2Tim. 2:13. When we discover His covenant and commit to the terms, we have invoked the God’s faithfulness that moves Him to deliver what He has promised.
- Our faithfulness defines our next level of rewards.
God is counting on the faithfulness of each believer to determine his next level of rewards Lk. 19:17-19; 12:42-44. What we need is being faithful to the covenant, and we have guarantee of rewards and promotion to next levels.
