Memory verse:   

“And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.”

“But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.”                                                                                 Mat. 20:20-22.

There is a price-tag to every valuable thing in life, when one pays the price he has the right of possession of the good. The same applies to kingdom life; every kingdom provision has the price to take possession of it Deu. 28:1-2. This is the covenant, which is the understanding of the demands that entitles the believer to take delivery of a kingdom provision Psa. 89:34. In essence, we don’t beg for kingdom provisions, we simply need to subscribe to the covenant for it Jer. 33:20-21.

Some basic covenant approaches to maximize the kingdom life.

1. We don’t bed to be enthroned; we serve our way to enthronement.

New birth turned the believer to a priest and king, which means every true believer is ordained for a throne Rev. 5:12. But it is serving God that qualifies the believer for the throne, not begging or crying for it Mat. 20:20-22.

2. We don’t cry to prosper; we serve our way into growing realms of prosperity.

Prosperity is one of the provisions of the kingdom for every true believer 3Jn. 2. But the scriptures make us to understand that the way to experience it is not by begging for it, but serving God Psa. 35:27; Job 36:11.

 

3. God is not looking for who to rob, but who to enrich.

Serving God does place great demands on the believer, but it does not reduce but positions the believer for a glorious life Job 36:11; Lk. 5:3-8.
