The scriptures make us to understand that our life is a product our choices Deu. 30:19. One is either making the right or wrong choice, which is either making or destroying one’s destiny. May grace to make right choices to keep building ones destiny come upon each one of us right now! One choice any man will make that will lead to all-round change of story and rest is the choice to love God Mat. 22:37-40; 6:24. Love for God is the power that makes everything in the kingdom to work 1Cor. 13:1-3,8. Faith, which is known to give the believer access to the realm of all possibilities work by it Gal. 5:6; Mat. 17:20; 13:31-32; Mk. 9:23. Prayer works by faith, and faith works by love, so prayer works by love Mat. 21;22; Gal. 5:6. Fasting works by love Isa. 58:3-4. Giving is a waste when it is not done in love 1Cor. 13:3.Love for God also empowers the believer to make everything work in his life Rms. 8:28. The question is do you want everything to begin to work for you and to your advantage from now? Then make the choice for love for God now!

What is in Love for God?

1. Genuine love for God enhances steadfastness in stewardship.

Love for God is the fuel that powers serving God Rms. 8:35-37. Love makes the believer a God addict, and imparts with the ability to be dedicated in stewardship Mat. 6:24; SOS 8:6. When one is steadfast in stewardship, one is guaranteed access to God’s blessing and rewards 1Cor. 15:58; Gal. 6:9.

• Genuine love for God engenders access to divine strength.

Remember that love for God makes the believer to be filled with the fullness of God Eph. 3:17-19; 1Jn. 4:16. In simple words, the believer is full of God by his choice for love for God. The scriptures say about our God that He is strong and mighty Psa. 24:8. In essence, love for God makes the believer to be filled with the divine strength of God. It goes to say that the believer cannot be a lover of God and be a weakling; God lovers are men of unusual strength and might.

• Genuine love for God empowers the believer for exploits.

We have just established that love for God imparts the believer with divine strength Eph. 3:17-19; Psa. 24:8. Strength enables the believer to do exploit; strong men make great things to happen Judg. 14:5-6; Dan. 11:32; Rms. 8:28. In essence, love for God makes great things to keep happening on their own in the life of the believer who is rooted in it.

• Genuine love for God turns any child of God to a living wonder.

New birth positions or qualifies an individual for change of story from wandering to a wonder, misery to a mystery, being a question to an exclamation Isa. 8:18. But new birth only gives the individual the qualification; it is love for God that actualizes the change into reality 1Cor. 2:9. Love for God grants the believer access into the things God has prepared for His children, which turns their lives into wonders Acts 20:32.

• Genuine love for God guarantees triumph in spite of prevailing circumstances.

We live in a world of battles, where we fight for everything before we can have any Eph. 6:12; 1Tim. 6:12. It is not enough to fight, unless the believer wins the battle, he does not have access to his desires. Love for God secures the believer against failure in life, including loss in the battles of life 1Cor. 13:8. In case you have been fighting battles, losing to the enemies, and you are tired and desires victory from now, make the decision for the love of God right away!

How to make the Choice for love for God?

1. Decide to please God with your life from now, by doing only what pleases Him Job 1:1,8; Psa. 45:7; Jn. 14:27.
2. Decide to love everything that God loves from now; which include souls Jn. 3:16; His house Psa. 87:2; His word Psa. 138:2.
3. Decide to place God and His kingdom above everything in life including above self Mat. 6:33.

In conclusion, life may not really be as difficult to enjoy as we have concluded in our heart and experiencing now. It might just be that we have not made the right decision, which has resulted in the wrong experiences that has trailed our path thus far. The decision for love for God is the ‘joker’ of life that will turn the story of any man to glory dramatically. Will you make that decision now?

Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. 1. Father in the name of Jesus, whatever that is contesting with love for God in my heart is flushed out now by the blood of Jesus Heb. 9:14.
2. Father in the name of Jesus, your word says my choice is powerful, so I make the choice for love for God in my life now Deu. 30:19.
3. Father in the name of Jesus, by the help of the Holy Spirit my love for God shall keep growing from today Rms. 5:5.
4. Father in the name of Jesus, through the mystery of the anointing oil today, I receive the baptism with the Spirit of love for God n my life 2Tim. 1:6-7.
