From scriptures, we understand that wisdom is what differentiates the experience of every one in life Ecc. 8:1; Pro. 3:13-17. The bible identifies four different kinds of wisdom Jms. 3:15-17;

  1. Earthly or Natural Wisdom
  2. Sensual or Intellectual Wisdom
  3. Devilish or diabolical Wisdom
  4. The Wisdom from Above

Every man’s life is a function of the wisdom at work in him. The wisdom from above is superior to all other kinds of wisdom, and it places the believer in charge of life Jn. 3:31.

What is Divine Wisdom?

  1. Divine wisdom is the applied knowledge of the truth.

Every time a believer does what the word of God says, he is operating in divine wisdom Mat. 7:24-27; 2Cor. 13:18. Whenever he does contrary, he is operating another wisdom which is lower than divine wisdom.

  • Divine wisdom is supernatural Insight into the issues of life

Insight means an accurate and deep understanding of someone or something, which helps to do the appropriate thing. When a believer receives understanding from the Spirit of God on any issue of concern, he is always beyond. And operating by the insight received is walking in divine wisdom Jn. 8:1-12; Mk. 12:13-17; Dan. 2:16-19,23-30. This deep and accurate understanding from the Holy Spirit is what makes the believer to escape the traps of men.

Access to Divine Wisdom.

The wisdom from above is available to all men, but can only be accessed by those who will pay the price for it.

  1. A genuine heart for God.

It is the heart that God checks to determine who qualifies for what He has to offer 2Chr. 16:9. A heart that is always out for God alone is what God wants to see, for the believer to become qualified 1Sam. 13:14; 2Sam. 14:20. The undoing of many is that their heart is after things; such know that God is the giver of things, so they come to God for things not for Him.

  • Prayer and Fasting.

This is prayer and fasting that is after knowing the right thing to do from God, it will invoke the release of divine wisdom on the believer Isa. 58:6, 8; Dan. 10:1-10. Asking God for what to do is stronger and will deliver better results than asking God to do it for you.

In conclusion, the wisdom from above makes a star of any dummy Dan. 12:3.With the wisdom of God at work in your life, you are the next global star that shall emerge.

To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for

Prayer.

  1. Father in the name of Jesus, I receive a new heart now, a heart that will be panting after God and His kingdom Ezk. 36:27.
  2. Father in the name of Jesus, I receive a fresh baptism of the Spirit of grace and supplication, thereby making prayer and fasting a delight to me henceforth Zch. 12:10.
  3. Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the help of the Holy Spirit to always know the right step to take, and the power to promptly take them from now Lk. 4:1-2.
  4. Father in the name of Jesus, deliver me from every form of folly, and cause your wisdom to become my identity from now Mat. 11:19.
