The resurrection of Jesus from the dead is the backbone of the Christian life 1Cor. 15:12-20. We understand from scriptures that the resurrection of Christ from the dead if by the operation of the power of God, referred to as the power of His resurrection Php. 3:10; Eph. 1:19-20. The good news is that the believer can experience this same power of His resurrection in his life Rms.. 8:11.
What is in the Power of His Resurrection?
The power of His resurrection opens the eyes of the believer to the riches of his inheritance Eph. 1:18-22. In essence, the power of His resurrection takes off the veil over the heart, thereby causing the believer to see the things that belongs to him in Christ. We saw this in scriptures when Christ rose from the dead, His first miracle was the opening of the eyes of the disciples Lk. 24:13,18,30-31. The import of this is access to light, which empowers the believer to walk in dominion in life Jn. 1:5; Psa. 66:7.
The Effect of the Power of His Resurrection in a Believer’s Life.
The power of His resurrection is ordained for the believer’s supernatural change of story Lk. 24:5-6. The change of story that this power will deliver when a believer experience it are:
It destroys the power of sin over the believer’s life, and enable him to walk in holiness 1Cor. 15:42; Eph. 3:1-3; Rms. 6:14.
It transforms every weakness in any area of the believer’s life to strength, as divine ability is imparted 1Cor. 15:43; Rev. 5:12.
This power brings the believer out of every shame, as it triggers the release of God’s glory on his life 1Cor. 15:43; Rev. 5:12.
This power has the capacity to open every grave door, for the escape of the believer into freedom Mat. 27:50-52; Jn. 8:32.
This power will destroy every sickness in the believer’s body, thereby imparting strength for sound health Rms. 8:11; Mat. 8:17.
Prosperity is a function of power, and this is what the power of His resurrection is ordained for Rev. 5:12; 2Cor. 8:9; Due. 8:18.
Every defeat in life is an indication of small strength Pro. 24:10. The power of His resurrection imparts the believer with the strength for victory Mat. 28:18; Lk. 24:5-6; 1Jn. 5:4.
Death is subject to the power of His resurrection, and will always submit to its authority. In essence, the believer that has the power of His resurrection at work has escaped from death to enjoy life 1Cor. 15:53-57; Heb. 2:14-15; Rev. 1:18.
The power of His resurrection empowers the believer to walk in dominion over all the forces of life Eph. 2:6; 1:20-21.
In conclusion, the power of His resurrection invaded the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel’s prophetic encounter and the dry bones were supernaturally raised in to a mighty army Ezk. 37:1-10. Everyone should have his faith come alive for an experience with the power of His resurrection today 1Cor. 15:50-51.
