The scriptures present our God as a family-loving God, who operates by the family system Eph. 3:14-15. For instance, the church of Christ is referred to as the “household of faith”, which means the family of faith Gal. 6:10. To show God’s heart beat for the family, He instituted the family system for man, and waited until the family was put in place before releasing His blessings on man Gen. 1:27-28.

God’s Will for the Family.

  1. To enjoy God’s blessing Gen. 1:28.

The will of God for the family system is to have His blessing rest on the family. In essence, the family is the channel through which the blessing of God flows to the human race. A disconnection from the family system cuts an individual off from God’s blessing. This is why the family system is Satan’s target of attack, disrupting and destroying the family system with the mission to cut man off God’s blessing. Remember, the blessing of God is man’s access to a life of riches and the security against hardship Pro. 10:22. The family being the connection to God’s blessing, is therefore man’s guarantee to a glorious life that will be free of sorrow.

  • The salvation of the entire family Acts 16:31.

The scriptures make us to understand that the will of God is to have all men saved 1Tim. 2:4; 2Pet. 3:9. The family system is the platform ordained to get this done; God works to get one person saved and that becomes His foothold to reach and save other members of the family Lk. 19:5-10; Acts 10: 1-5,24,44-48; 16:31-34.Therefore, anyone that still has members of his family yet to be saved should hold unto God for their salvation.

  • The entire family walking in the way of God Gen. 18:17-19.

God’s will for the family is to have everyone walking in His ways, by adopting a godly lifestyle. God’s desire is that every family will have the culture and tradition of godly lifestyle and walking in His ways.

  • The family is to be made of giants Gen. 35:11.

God’s desire is to have each family made of giants, because walking in the ways of God makes great men Jer. 5:4-5. In essence, God’s design is that the family is the platform for the rise of great individuals in life.

How to Secure the Rescue of our Families?

  1. Be born again and believe God for the salvation of your entire household.

New birth is what redeems man from the curses of life, and brings into God’s blessing Gal. 3: 13-14,29. The scriptures show that when an individual experiences salvation, God becomes committed to the salvation of every other member of that family Acts. 16:31-32,34; 10:1-5, 24; Lk. 19:5,9-10.Therefore, to see our family rescued from satanic bondage and brought into the glorious and great plan God ordained for the family, we must be born again and believe God for the salvation of every other member of our family.

  • Obedience to God’s word as a culture and tradition of the family.

We must recognize that our obedience is the get way to the world of all round blessing in the kingdom Deu. 28:1-13; Jms. 1:25. Beginning with our personal life, we must command the entire family to walk in God’s ways as a lifestyle Gen. 18:19. By this we invoke God’s blessing on our family and terminate the curses, misfortune and the evil that has become the identity of our family.

  • Enter into a covenant to serve God and the interest of His Kingdom.

Serving God and the interest of His kingdom invokes the blessing of God, thereby bringing into all round rest in life Exo. 23:25; 2Chr. 15:12,15. To rescue our family therefore, we must make the decision for kingdom service as individuals, and make it become a culture of the family.

  • Open up to receive and believe the blessing of the God proclaimed by His ordained servant set over you.

God’s way to communicate His blessing is through the proclamation of His ordained priest Num. 6:22-27; Isa. 44:26. The scriptures make us to understand that redemption makes a believer into a priest, which gives every believer the right to pronounce blessing on himself Rev. 1:5-6; 5:9-10. But to bring the believer into the dimension of growing into fullness of Christ, with the entire family, the pronouncement of men ordained by God into the spiritual office of priesthood becomes vital Eph. 4:11-13.

In conclusion, no matter what the situation has been in your family and what it looks like now, God’s will of glory and greatness for the family shall become the experience in your family from today.

Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for

  1. Father, in the name of Jesus, stretch your hand upon my family and save every member of my family Acts 16:31.
