Every revival is ordained for the blessing of the saints, and the supernatural lifting of the believer’s life.
What is a Revival?
A revival is the Holy Ghost at work. Whenever God’s Spirit is at work, men’s hearts are turned towards the things of God’s kingdom Jn. 16:8,13-14.
As we said before a revival is the Holy Spirit purely at work, with no human manipulation. When the Holy Spirit is at work, all works of the devil are judged, and God’s people begin to experience enviable glory Jn. 16:8-11.
How to Identify the Season of Revival.
Whenever the Holy Spirit is at work, there are physical things that show it.
The Holy Spirit is the teacher and interpreter of God’s word. When He is at work He gives understanding of God’s word, resulting in the word of God coming alive like never before in believers Jer. 31:34; Acts 19:20.
In a revival, going to church is no longer a religious exercise, but a part of the believer’s life Act 2:46. The church has become a home because the understanding of God as the ‘Father’ has come alive in His children; making coming to His house, the church, a delight.
What is in a Revival for us?
Jesus said it is good when the Holy Spirit comes upon the believer Jn. 16:7. What are the good things that happen to the believer when the Holy Spirit comes and is at work in his life?
In a revival, the Holy Spirit opens the heaven over the believer for the outpouring of unusual God’s blessing, which results in financial fortune Zch. 1:17; Hag. 2:3-5.
In a revival, the Holy Spirit comes on the believer, among other things to strengthen the believer’s body, making him to experience sound health Rms. 8:11; Pro. 18:14.
In a revival, the Holy Spirit comes on and empowers the believer to command the supernatural Jn. 3:6-8: Lk. 9:1-6. This makes the supernatural to become the normal experience of the believer in a revival.
How to be a Part of a Revival?
The core mission of the Holy Spirit is to convict men of sin and bring them to salvation through Christ Jn. 16:8-11; 1Cor. 12:3. In essence, when the Holy Spirit moves the ultimate is to see men in their multitudes receive salvation. But this cannot happen unless some believers accept the responsibility to go and speak to the unsaved Rms. 10:14-15. Therefore, one way to become a part of a revival is the choice to be committed to reaching out to the unsaved with the gospel and love of Christ for their salvation.
In conclusion, this is one of the finest moments for every believer, because it is a revival season. It is a time of supernatural lifting and unusual rise for every wise believer. And the wisdom is the choice to become committed to the revival in winning of souls for Christ.
To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for
