Memory verse:
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” – 1Ths. 5:18.
The understanding of God’s will in every situation and alignment adopting same is vital in life 1Jn. 2:17. Doing the will of God empowers believers to take delivery of desires, which God has promised Heb. 10:36. This is where some believers have missed it, they are in dealignment to God’s will, so they keep struggling. Scripture shows us that giving thanks is the will of God for His children in every situation 1Ths. 5:18. This means, when believers are intentional in thanking God in everything, they make their concern to become turned to testimonies.
The Power of Thanksgiving in Turning Concerns to Testimonies.
- The Example of Feeding of 5,000 Men.
Jesus had 5,000 men to feed, without counting the women and children Jn. 6:10. When the disciples will offer solution, it was the food pack of a young boy with only 5 loaves and 2 small fishes Jn. 6:9. Rather than hiss and despise it, Jesus took it, gave thanks and served the people Jn. 6:11. There was supernatural multiplication that everyone ate, with 12 baskets full left over Jn. 6:12-13.
- Thanksgiving Carries the Power of Supernatural Multiplication.
We serve the God of supernatural multiplication; scripture says He can multiply 1,000 times Deu. 1:11. Scripture shows us that thanksgiving is the kingdom force for supernatural multiplication Jer. 30:19.
