Memory verse:
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” – 1Ths. 5:18.
Every time a believer does the will of God, he is guaranteed to come forth with testimonies 1Jn. 2:17. The scripture identifies giving of thanks as the will of God in every situation 1Ths. 5:18. Furthermore, scripture states clearly that when we do the will of God, we gain access to God’s promise Heb. 10:36. This means, thanksgiving is one thing believers will engage in and be sure he is doing the right thing. Also, thanksgiving is guaranteed to turn any situation into a testimony.
The Power of Thanksgiving in Turning Concerns to Testimonies.
- The Example of the Wall of Jericho.
Jericho was the entrance city for Israelite to the Promised Land. This posed a challenge because Jericho was a defensed city, with massive walls and gates, which were shut against the Israelite Jos. 6:1. God prescription was for them to go round the city for 7 days, and make a loud shout at the end of the 7th day Jos. 6:3-5. The loud shout signifies praise Psa.47:1-7; 66:1-2. When they did, the massive wall came down, and the Israelite were able to take over Jericho and step into their Promised Land Jos. 6:15-20.
- Thanksgiving Secures Escape from Impossible Situation.
God has a way of escape out of every situation, no matter how terrible it appears to be 1Cor. 10:13. The challenge why people remain in difficult situation for unduly long time is because they fail to locate the escape route. Scripture shows us that thanksgiving is God’s way out of every difficult situation Rms. 4:20; Gen 21:6-7.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, empower me by your Spirit for the lifestyle of thanksgiving thereby making me to experience the life of abundance of all things from now Deu. 28:47-48.
Action.
Identify those overwhelming issues, and engage in thanksgiving.

Every impossible situation in your life is turned to testimony now!
You will never need to struggle over any issue again in life!
