We have said it over and again in our teachings this week that, we are in a season of divine visitation, which is what is called a revival Zph. 3:17. We need to know this, because what an individual does not know or aware of is what he cannot profit from Psa. 82:5. We have also seen from scriptures that to be unaware of a revival is to fall a victim and casualty of the season Lk. 19:41-44. Every revival is ordained by God for the change of the story of the people, particularly God’s children Zph. 3:17-19. But the profit of a revival is only accessible to those who will engage in the revival. We engage in a revival by committing to kingdom advancement endeavor Mat. 6:33.
What are the ways of engaging in a revival?
- Engagement in helping the needy among the brethren.
The scriptures make us to understand that there will always be the needy among the brethren Deu. 15:11; Mk. 14:7; Jn. 12:8. Particularly, the new converts who are yet to totally recover from the ministry of the devil of stealing, killing and destruction Jn. 10:10. Therefore, there will be various aspects of their lives they will be in need, and it becomes the responsibility of other believers to meet these needs. These will go a long way to encourage such new converts to abide in the faith and the church. Every seed sown to the needy is lending to the Lord, which will be repaid back to the believer in abundance Pro. 19:17. This is one way we show the sincerity of our love for God, which will make the converts to cling to Jesus the more 2Cor. 8:8; Jn. 13:34-35.
It is revival time! It is a time ordained for helping among God’s people. It is a privilege time for us as believers to enforce our change of story in life as we take up these responsibilty.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the empowerment of the Holy Spirit for tireless kingdom advancement engagement; thereby positioning me for the full delivery of the glory of this season Acts 1:8.
Action.
Make the choice to take the responsibility of material and financial needs of your converts from now.
