By redemption the believer is ordained to enjoy and not to endure life Jn. 10:10; 1Tim. 6:17; 2Pet. 1:3. One factor essential to enjoy life is bringing forth fruit as at when due Jer. 17:7-8; Psa. 1:3; Deut. 7:14. What is fruitfulness? Fruitfulness is the capacity to produce expected and desirable result in one’s engagement. It can be defined also as the state of delivering the result desired as at when required.

Illustrations:

  • A business is said to be fruitful when it is producing expected profit and gain.
  • An employee or staff is said to be fruitful when he is producing result expected in his assignment.
  • A relationship is fruitful when it is producing the purpose it was intended.
  • A marriage is said to be fruitful essentially when it is bringing forth children as desired.

God’s will is Fruitfulness.

God’s will is the fruitfulness of His children Gen. 1:28; Jn. 15:8. Every provision of God is deliverable only on the platform of the covenant Jer. 33:21-22,25-26. What is therefore the covenant for fruitfulness?

The Covenant Secrets for fruitfulness.

  1. Be born again and remain so.

Bareness and unfruitfulness are effect of curse Deu. 28:18. At salvation, the believer is redeemed from every curse, bareness inclusive Gal. 3:13-14. In essence, the first step out of the yoke of unfruitfulness is to renounce the life of sin and a commitment of one’s life to Christ.

  • Commitment to abide in God’s house.

God’s house is a mysterious place that empowers believers to be supernaturally fruitful, even at old age Psa. 92:12-15. The more one is committed to appearance, the more one becomes fruitful in life.

  • Have faith for your fruitfulness.

Faith imparts with the strength to bring forth fruit Heb. 11:11. Faith invokes God’s hand on the believer, and God’s hand establishes the fruitfulness of the believer in all areas of desire Lk. 1:38,45.

  • Be filled with the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the power of God that imparts with the ability to bring forth fruit Acts 1:8; Lk. 1:34-35. When the Holy Spirit comes on the believer, bareness is turned into supernatural fruitfulness Isa. 32:15.

  • Commitment to kingdom stewardship.

The scriptures show us that fruitfulness is one of the vital rewards for the pursuit of God and the advancement of His kingdom Psa. 127:3. In essence, one way to break the yoke of bareness and enforce one’s fruitfulness is to commit to serving God and His kingdom.

  • Commitment to joy and rejoicing as a lifestyle.

Lack of joy makes everything to wither; in essence, it robs of the ability to bring forth fruit Joe. 1:11-12. Joy is a covenant force that breaks the yoke of bareness, and imparts with the strength for fruitfulness Isa. 54:1-2; Psa. 57:5-7. No matter the situation, when the believer turns to joy, rejoicing and praise, every form of bareness will be turned into supernatural fruitfulness.

In conclusion, God’s words referred to as hammer and fire; when the believer engages it with faith, it will shatter every issue of concern and burn them to ashes to release one’s desired testimony Jer. 23:29. I know this is your season of supernatural fruitfulness finally!

To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for

Prayer.

  1. Father in the name of Jesus, the yoke of unfruitfulness and bareness in any area of my life if destroyed right now Mat. 15:13.
  2. Father in the name of Jesus, as a seed of Abraham, I am supernaturally fruitful in all areas of my life from henceforth Gal. 3:29.
