Jesus taught His disciples to make God’s kingdom the focus when they engage the prayer altar Mat. 6:9-10. Remember, whatever Jesus taught is what He practices in His personal life Acts 1:1. In essence, the practice of Jesus in prayer was to focus on kingdom matters instead of personal issues and needs, and His testimony in prayer was that God hears Him always Jn. 11:41-42. This approach of praying kingdom-advancement focused prayer must be a major secret for the express answer He enjoys in prayer. Therefore, kingdom advancement focus is key to maximizing the blessing of the prayer altar.

1. It empowers the giant in us to come alive.

By redemption, every believer is ordained to be a giant, a mountain top personality, and greatness Mat. 5:13-14. But we belong to a kingdom that operates by covenant Jer. 33:20-21. In essence, every provision of God in the kingdom has the responsibility that must be embraced by His children before they can be experience it. Greatness is the covenant right of every true child of God, but a vital responsibility is commitment to kingdom advancement focused prayer as a lifestyle Acts 4:31-33; 1Cor. 15:10. The prayer altar is the platform of raising kingdom giants. Abraham was a great intercessor, and he rose from a failure at 75 years into the generational giant we know of him today Gen. 18:23-33; 20:17. Job also was identified by scriptures as given to the life of prayer, and he emerged the greatest of all businessmen of his days Job 42:10; 1:3.

The scriptures make us to understand that God does not have respect of men; whatever He did for one He will do for another who will fulfill the same demand Acts 10:34-35. In essence, if we will commit to the prayer altar praying for kingdom advancement, we are bound to emerge as giant just like Abraham and Job. You are the next greatness to emerge.
