Memory verse:
“And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?”
“There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.”
“And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.”
- Lk. 17:17-19
One vital characteristic of kingdom life is next level experience of blessing Isa. 43:18-19. This is what the believer is introduced into by new birth Pro. 4:18. We must remember that every provision of the kingdom places responsibility on the believer who desires to experience it Deu. 28:1-2. From scriptures, we understand that giving of thanks is the believer’s access to next levels of blessing Psa. 67:5-7.
What is in thanksgiving that makes for next levels?
- Thanksgiving is gateway to our next levels of breakthroughs.
We live in a world where we are confronted with every kind of challenge at all times 1Cor. 16:9. Yet, God has ordained for the believer to keep making progress in spite of the oppositions; this is what we refer to as breakthrough Exo. 14:15. Scriptures teach us that giving thanks makes for progress no matter the opposition Jer. 30:19-21; Jn. 11:40-41.
- Thanksgiving is an escape route from destruction in life.
When we fail to give thanks, we are refusing to acknowledge God and His hand at work in our lives Dan. 4:29-33; Lk. 12:16-20. It is one thing that make men to experience destruction in life. When we disregard the hand of God, we suffer devastation and destruction Psa. 28:5; Acts 12:21-23.
Jesus is Lord!
