In God’s kingdom, what makes for our fruitfulness is not just in doing the right thing, but doing it with understanding Mat. 13:23. How good our understanding is will determine how productive we are. Scriptures make us to understand that serving God, which is what we refer to as spiritual stewardship, is the most rewarding venture on the earth 1Tim. 4:8; Exo. 23:25-27. But many believer don’t reflect this reality in their life. Why? It is because of lack of the understanding that serving God is a big time business Lk. 2:49. If it is truly a business, it must be given a business-like approach to maximize the opportunity Rms. 12:11. A close look at many reveals that serving God is more like helping God, the church and the pastor. To have a business-like approach, we need to understand how to serve to enjoy the profits, what are the profits, and engage diligently.

Channels of Spiritual Stewardship.

1. Follow-up on the new converts.

In every business venture, how many deals one is able to close up, with the commitment from the customers will determine one’s profit. So it is in this kingdom business, how many individuals that ends up with a sustained commitment to Christ by abiding in the faith and church is what defines our productivity and eventual profit Jn. 15:16. Therefore, we need to:

1. Encourage and ensure our converts attend the Believer Foundation Class, were they are established in the foundation of the Christian life Psa. 11:3.
2. Ensure they belong to Winners Satellite Fellowship (WSF), which is the grass root family unit of the church or necessary care, spiritual nurturing and otherwise Acts 2:46.
3. Encourage the new converts to join any service unit of their choice in the church, to enjoy the blessings that accrue to those who serve Job 36:11.

In business, no matter the partnership or network, profit at the end of the day is individualistic. We must always remember therefore that God does not reward groups, He rewards individuals 1Cor. 3:8; Rev. 22:12,
