Memory verse:
“Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.”
“And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,”
“But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.” Mk. 10:28-30.
Redemption is an initiation into a new life, the supernatural life of Christ popularly referred to as eternal or abundant life Jn. 3:16; 10:10. This is a life characterized by super profits, which makes the natural life incomparable Deu. 32:30-32. Every profit on earth demands labor, the labor that delivers the highest level of profit is spiritual stewardship Pro. 14:23; 1Tim. 4:8.
Ways of engaging in spiritual service.
- Commitment to bless others in the church family.
This implies contributing to the well-being of others Gal. 6:10. This is with primary focus on believers and church members. Different ways we can do this include:
- Taking care of the transportation of members, to and from church services, who are yet to be financially strong 49:22,
- Commitment to kingdom care covenant, which is the brand name for welfare system of indigent members in the Winners family 6:2; Lk. 10:29-36.
- Personal care of challenged families and members; this is giving care to families or members who are faced with sudden challenges 25:35-40; Jms. 2:15-16.
- Commitment to other kingdom advancement investments – financially taking responsibility for anything that will encourage believers to become more committed to God and the church 1:5-9; Mat. 24:14.
