Memory verse:

“But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.”                          Mk. 10:28-30.

The scriptures make us to understand that service is the most profitable venture on the earth Lk. 22:25-27. Whatever a man is engaged in that is not service oriented might not make the efforts to deliver maximally Pro. 11:24-25. There are various forms of stewardship, but spiritual stewardship pays the most 1Tim. 4:7-8. The profit of spiritual stewardship brings the giant out of the believer and a throne in eternity Mk. 10:28-30.

Ways of engaging in spiritual service.

1. Engaging in soul winning.

This is all about going after the unsaved, getting them to turn to righteousness, and to commit to the life of Christ Dan. 12:3. These basic understandings will help a believer becomes committed to soul winning.

8. Every believer is ordained a soul winner – In essence, the moment an individual becomes born again, he is ordained by God as a soul winner 15:16; Psa. 2:8.
9. Every believer is empowered by the Holy Spirit to be an effective witness of Christ – He only needs to activate this power by stepping out Acts 1:8; Lk. 9:1-4.

• Soul winning is the believer’s core assignment – Doing well at it makes the believer do well in virtually all other areas in life 28:19-20; Lk. 15:7.

31. Soul winning guarantees divine presence – This is the foremost blessing that soul winning delivers, which makes all the difference in life 16:15-16,20; Rms. 8:31.

Father in the name of Jesus, empower me by your Spirit afresh for effective engagement in soul winning Acts 1:8.
