Memory verse:
“But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.”
“For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come” 1Tim. 4:7-8.
The scriptures make us to understand that salvation is a call to kingdom service Eph. 2:10. In essence, the believer is saved primarily to serve the interest of God’s kingdom. When a believer is not committed to kingdom stewardship, he has missed out on purpose, and will not be able to experience the full life of glory ordained for him. From scriptures, we have established that spiritual stewardship is the most rewarding of the three forms of kingdom stewardship 1Tim. 4:7-8.
What are the various ways of engaging in spiritual stewardship?
This exercise is termed spiritual stewardship because its delivery is lives that are now light to their world Col. 1:12; Mat. 5:13-14. The following will empower the believer’s commitment to this form of service.
