“For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come”                           1Tim. 4:7-8.

Serving God is the most profitable venture on the earth that entitles the believer for the life of profit Job 36:11. In essence, a believer that is living in struggle is because of his ignorance Hos. 4:6. We have established from scriptures that there are three classes of kingdom service; in-service, financial, and spiritual stewardship Exo. 23:25-27. The scriptures show us that the most rewarding is spiritual service 1Tim. 4:8.

What are the various ways of engaging in spiritual stewardship?

1. Praying for fresh revelation on our altars.

This is a form of spiritual stewardship become the service delivered is God’s word, which is spirit 3Ths. 3:1; Jn. 6:63. The following will empower the believer to commit to praying for fresh revelation on our altars.

i) Increase of the word, will empower the church for supernatural growth Mat. 24:28; Acts 6:7.

ii) Fresh revelation or word from the Lord, makes the ‘pasture; to be green, thereby making the sheep (God’s people) to lie down Psa. 23:2.

iii) The prayer will make for the opening of the spiritual understanding of worshippers, which will result in the impact of the word n their lives Eph. 1:18-19; Col. 1:9.

iv) Prayer focused on kingdom advancement entitles the engaging believer for open rewards Mat. 6:33; Lk. 2:37-38.

Father in the name of Jesus and by the Holy Spirit, empower me for a supernaturally fruitful experience in my walk with you this year Mk. 9:24.

Action.

Pray for God’s word to be ever fresh from the altar of our church henceforth.
