Memory verse:
“Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.” Deu. 2:24.
Every work of God on the earth is to the end of seeing all men are saved Psa. 74:12; Jn. 3:16; 1Tim. 2:4. While God wants all men to be saved, the devil and the powers of darkness are all out to scuttle this agenda 1Cor. 16:9. The only way believers’ effort toward salvation of souls will be a success is, to accept the responsibility to put up a fight and win the war against the onslaught of hell Lk. 11:21-22; Mat. 16:18.
How to Win the Warfare for Souls.
- Understand that God has Given the Church Every Unsaved Soul.
The soul of all men, both saved and unsaved belong to God Ezk. 18:4. God has given every unsaved soul across the globe to the Church, for their salvation Mat. 28:18-20; Mk. 16:15-16.
- Understand that there are Many Adversaries.
There are many adversaries to contend with in our drive towards salvation of souls Deu. 2:24. This is how it is with every agenda of God; there are many adversaries which the believer must stop to take delivery of what God has ordained 1Cor. 16:9.
- The Combined Forces of Faith, Prayer, Fasting Guarantee Victory.
The combined forces of faith, prayer, and fasting will dislodge all adversaries against the salvation of souls Mat. 17:19-21. The believer who will see his labor in soul winning deliver result must be given to the lifestyle of faith, prayer, and fasting.
