Memory verse:   

“Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.”

The scriptures make us to understand that God made man purposely for His pleasure Isa. 43:21; Rev. 4:11. Man after being created fell out of purpose for his creation; he no longer was committed to bring pleasure to God Gen. 3:22-24. From scriptures, we understand that our God does not change in purpose and His intention; hence His will for man has not changed Mal. 3:6. God is all out to redeem man, and restore all men to this divine purpose Jn. 3:16; 1Tim. 2:4. But Satan who is behind the fall of man from his also not ready to allow man become restored Lk. 11:21-22. In essence, there is contention over the soul of man and his restoration 1Cor. 16:9. The believer that will succeed in soul winning endeavor must be ready for warfare and to win the war Deu. 2:24.

Ho to win the war and be effective in soul winning.

1. Understand that soul winning is not a play-fare, but warfare.

The strong man holding the unsaved captive will not let go unless he is forced to Lk. 11:21-22. The believer must understand how to be forceful enough, to terminate the operation of the strong man and effect the rescue of men Mat. 11:12. This will only be by engaging in warfare against the powers of darkness over the salvation of men.

• Understand that Satan is personally all out against the salvation of men.

Satan is the strong man holding the unsaved captive Lk. 11:21-22. He works by blindfolding men from access to the glorious light of the gospel, thereby keeping in darkness 2Cor. 4:4. Understanding the personality of the enemy is half way to victory in warfare.

• The prayer altar is the altar the place of generating power for victory in this warfare.

It is on the prayer altar that we generate and deploy the power and authority given us by Christ, to destroy all satanic resistances to our soul winning endeavor Acts 4:30-33; 13:8-12.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive strength of the Holy Spirit for warfare in my soul winning endeavor thereby making me supernaturally fruitful from today Acts. 1:8.

Action.

Put up a daily prayer schedule for your soul winning endeavor.
