Memory verse:
“And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?” Lk. 2:49.
One thing I think traditional Christianity is missing out is the business perspective of the kingdom life. This in my own understanding of scriptures is the first thing Jesus presented about the kingdom, when He told His parent at age twelve that He must be about His Father’s business Lk. 2:49. The business of the kingdom is essentially about the souls of men; reconciling the lost to God 2Cor. 5:18-20. It is a big-time business, with unequal dividends compared to any other venture on the earth Jn. 4:35-36; Mat. 16:26.
Scriptural understanding on soul winning that will get the believer committed.
- Soul winning is the core spiritual stewardship.
Stewardship is the core of the kingdom life, and the believer’s access to all that the kingdom offers Mat. 25:14-30. The scriptures identified spiritual stewardship as the most rewarding, and soul winning is a core spiritual stewardship 1Tim. 4:7-8; Jn. 15:8,16. In essence, soul winning is vital to every believer that desires to make the most of his kingdom life.
- Soul winning is a covenant platform for the rise of giants.
From scriptures, we understanding that soul winning has the capacity to make the believer wise Pro. 11:30. Wisdom is the kingdom force that turns mere men into greatness, and ‘a nobody’ into giants Pro. 8:15-16. In essence, soul winning is the platform for raising giants in the kingdom Dan. 12:3.
Therefore, we can say confidently that the believer is not wasting his time serving the Lord in winning the unsaved to God. He is making investments into kingdom business, thereby investing into his future with the promise of uncommon greatness Mal. 3:17-18; 4:1-4.
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, endue me with grace afresh for soul winning that no unsaved I meet from today will escape hearing the gospel and getting saved Acts 26:22.
Action.
Appraise your soul winning engagement thus far as a believer.
Priestly Blessings.
I decree the release of the soul winner’s grace on your life right now!
Heaven shall take delight in your life by reason of your fruitfulness from today!
