Memory verse:
“Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” – Exo. 15:11.
New birth changed the position of believers from the natural into the supernatural realm Eph. 2:5-6. Hence, signs, wonders, and the miraculous become the norm Isa. 8:18; Jn. 3:8. Every believer has the responsibility to make this the reality in his life. Praise is the core responsibility for experiencing the reality of supernatural life; it has the power to create the atmosphere for the supernatural Psa. 22:3; Exo. 15:11. This implies that praise is not to be an item in our church service or prayer; it must become a way of life, for the supernatural to become the normal experience.
The Power of Praise in Stirring the Supernatural.
- Praise Invokes Supernatural Restoration of Believers Rights.
Our God is the God of restoration, who is committed to supernatural restoration of what belongs to His children Joel 2:25; Jn. 10:10. To experience restoration, a believer must invoke the God of restoration to work, and this is by praise Psa. 22:3; Exo. 15:11.
- Praise is the Requirement for Seeing Prophecies Fulfilled.
Scripture makes it clear that every declaration by God is a verdict, which is sure to come to pass Isa. 14:24,27. We don’t watch to see such declaration become fulfilled, we engage in warfare 1Tim. 1:18. Praise is the guaranteed way to engage in the warfare as depicted by Jehoshaphat and all Judah 2Chr. 20:12-17,22-24.
Jesus is Lord!
