Memory verse:
“Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” – Exo. 3:21.
Being born again is not about joining a church or religion, rather it is an initiation into a new life – eternal or abundant life Jn. 3:3-5,16; 10:10. This new life is God-kind of life; the supernatural dimension of life. This is the reason scripture says that redemption makes an individual a new being; formerly a human but now a supernatural being 2Cor. 5:17. This means, believers are redeemed for the life of signs and wonders Jn. 3:8; Isa. 8:18. Experiencing this supernatural life in reality is the responsibility of each believer Php. 2:12. A vital responsibility is the lifestyle of praise Exo. 15:11. Praise is a requirement for setting the stage for the manifestation of the supernatural Rms. 17-20; Jn. 8:39.
The Power of Praise in Stirring the Supernatural.
- Praise Invokes God to Do His Strange Works.
The supernatural is a product of the strange acts and strange works of God. Scripture shows us that praise is required to stir the strange acts and strange works of God in our lives Isa. 28:21-22; Exo. 15:11.
- Praise guarantees fulfilment of prophecies.
Whatever God says will require His hand to bring it to pass 1Kgs. 5:24; 1Ths. 5:24. Praise is trigger for God’s hand, moving it to do what He has spoken or planned for believer’s life 1Sam. 1:1-13,19.
