Memory verse:
“My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. 7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.” – Psa. 62:5-7.
Prayer is a vital aspect of our walk with God that makes for abundant life the kingdom promises Jn. 10:10; 16:23-24. A non-optional requirement for effective prayer is faith, which makes a good understanding of faith essential Mk. 11:24. A simple and scriptural definition of faith is word-based expectation Heb. 11:1. When one has strong expectation that is borne out of what God said, is what we refer to as faith that is required for life to be glorious Rms. 4:17-20.
