The growth of the church is very vital to life on the earth. This is because the church is the representation of God on the earth, the bigger the church becomes the more of God’s presence and manifestation that we have in our communities and on the earth, and better our world will become Mat. 5:12-14. In essence, church growth is to be the passion and pursuit of every believer. What then is the task of the believer for church growth? We have established from scriptures that prayer engagement is the principal responsibility of the believer for supernatural growth of the church Ezk. 36:37; Isa. 66:7-8.
The power of prayer for church growth.
- Growth of every king is a function of wisdom, including church growth.
Anywhere there is growth, the scriptures show us that wisdom must be at work Pro. 24:3-4. In essence, to experience church growth, the wisdom of God must be at work Acts 16:4-5. The prayer altar is a veritable place of accessing God’s wisdom Jms. 1:5-7.
- True and sustainable growth is a product of good strategy.
Every true and lasting growth is achieved through executing an effective plan Lk. 14:28-20. The biblical strategy for stirring and sustaining the growth of the church is prayer engagement Acts 4:29-33; 5:12:14; 6:4-7. Therefore, every church that will keep experiencing growth must be given to prayer as a way of life.
- Church growth is a function of word increase, which is triggered by prayer.
The scriptures make us to understand that as the word of God increase in the church, the number of people will increase in the same dimension Acts. 6:7; Mat. 24:28. This means that every church that desires to keep experiencing growth must labor to keep the word of God on the increase. Prayer is the channel through which we experience word increase 2Ths. 3:1; Acts 6:4,7.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, baptize me afresh with the Spirit of grace and supplication, thereby empower me for tireless kingdom advancement prayer investment Zch. 12:10.
Action.
Pray for the increase of God’s word in our midst as a church this month that will result in strange dimension of growth as a church.

I decree the increase of God’s word of on the altar in a strange dimension from today!
