Memory verse:
“Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.” – Psa. 2:8.
Church growth is the will of God and enjoys heaven’s backing for its unstoppable fulfilment Mat. 16:18. However, this demands believer’s involvement for practical delivery Heb. 3:4; 1Cor. 3:6. Prayer is the spiritual key that activates all forces responsible for supernatural church growth. This makes prayer a central force in stirring and sustaining the growth of the church Isa. 66:7-8; Ezk. 36:37. Therefore, every praying church is always a growing church, and every growing church must remain a praying church to keep growing Acts 6:1-4,7. Someone may ask, what is in church growth for me as a person? Higher level of spiritual authority is the benefit of believers who partakes of laboring towards church growth Mat. 16:18-19.
How to Engage Effectively in Praying for Supernatural Church Growth.
- Pray For More Members to Take Over Territories for Christ.
The will of God is for His children to have charge of the earth, and this is as each believer takes over his territory for Christ Gen. 1:28; Hab. 2:14. One vital way to bring God’s will to manifestation is to engage the altar of prayer Isa, 43:26. Therefore, we must keep praying for the Holy Ghost to stir up the souls of members of the church to reap the harvest of their territories Hag. 1:14; Jn. 15:16. This is because any church that can maintain an effectual prayer altar can take over any territory for Christ Isa. 66:7-8; Lk. 11:21-22.
Jesus is Lord!
