PRAISE IS KEY TO OUR DESIRED SUPERNATURAL TURNAROUND PT. 1.

Memory verse:

“God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.”

“Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.”

“For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.”

  • Psa. 47:5-7.

The scriptures make us to understand that the profit we draw from obeying scriptural instruction is determined by our level of understanding of the issue Psa. 119:144; Pro. 21:16; Mat. 13:23. Praise is a commandment of scriptures to the believer with promise actualizing the destiny of glory ordained for the believer 2Chr. 20:22-24; Acts 16:25-26. The believer that will experience praise in this dimension must have adequate understanding; what praise really is, why we should engage in praise, what to expect in praise, and how to effectively engage in praise.

What happens in the midst of praise?

  1. God comes down in person into our situation and that stirs a turnaround.

Praise is God’s dwelling place; the believer that desires God’s presence and manifestation simply need to create the environment suitable for His habitation and that is by praise Psa. 22:3. Therefore, whenever praise goes forth from a believer, God comes down into his situation and the end result is supernatural turnaround Isa. 64:1.

  • The glory of God comes down to terminate all issues of shame and reproach.

We just established now from scriptures that God respond to praise. And any time God shows up, His glory is made manifest Isa. 6:1. In essence, whenever praise goes forth from the believer, the glory of God comes down on his life and situation 2Chr. 5:13-14. And the manifestation of God’s glory is the end of every shame and reproach in life Zph. 3:17,19-20.

  • Praise guarantees the turning of captivity into liberty.

No matter the severity and length of time of the captivity of the wicked, we can praise our way out of it into liberty Isa. 54:1-3. In essence, by praise we can turn any negative experience to a testimony.

For praise to deliver all these results, it must be acceptable to God and the demand is that it must come from a heart filled with joy and rejoicing Isa. 29:13; Jms. 5:13.
