Memory verse:
“Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD. 2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; 3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.” – Isa. 54:1-3.
Redemption brought believer into a new life that promises abundance of all things Deu. 8:7-8; Jn. 10:10; 2Cor. 5:17. To experience this new life demands that one embrace required kingdom responsibilities. Key among this is the life of praise Psa. 67:5-7; Deu. 28:47. But understanding is important to make praise deliver; understanding of why we should praise, how to praise, and what to expect in return Psa. 47:7; Pro. 21:16.
What is in Praise for Believers.
- Turnaround in Believer’s Situation.
When praise goes up from a believer, God comes down in person into his situation, and stirs a turnaround Psa. 22:3; Isa. 64:1. When praise becomes a believer’s way of life, turnaround become the normal experience.
- Every Shame and Reproach is Terminated.
When praise proceeds from a believer, God’s glory is invoked into his situation to terminate every shame and reproach in his life Zph. 3:17,19-20; 2Chr. 5:13-14.
Every true believer by himself can praise his way out of every captivity of the wicked to liberty in life Isa. 54:1-3.
