Memory verse:

And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

  • 5:5.

The scriptures make it explicit that without God, life will be full of struggles Jn. 15:5; Psa. 127:1-2. Struggles simply means effort without result, or much effort with barely nothing to show for it. In essence, every man that will not experience wasted effort in life must secure God’s hand on his life through an encounter. Remember that encounter with Gd is rooted in spiritual preparation Exo. 19:10-11. Shiloh is prophetically ordained a place of encounter with God, hence the need to be spiritually prepared 1Sam. 1:9-15; 3:21.

Vital understanding essential for encounter with God.

  1. Encounter with God is through His word.

God’s word is God, hence an encounter with God is essential with His word Jn. 1:1-4; 1Sam. 3:21. Every encounter with God through the word opens new chapter in the life of a believer Gen. 11:1-4; Isa. 51:1-3.

  1. One encounter with God turned Abraham into a generational blessing.

Abraham was a nobody at seventy-five (75), with just one divine encounter he was transformed into a blessing that is still speaking globally today Gen. 22:1-5,16-18; 24:1; Gal. 3:13-14.

  1. Spirituality is a must for encounter with God.

Spirituality among others means possessing a heart that is truly seeking after God Jn. 14:21. With spirituality, the believer is guaranteed encounter with God Rev. 1:10; Rms. 8:6.

Therefore, everyone should get spiritually prepared, remain spiritually connected and focused, to experience our encounter at Shiloh this year.
