Memory verse:   

“And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.”                 – Exo. 3:8.

 

The scriptures make us to understand that no man comes into God’s kingdom and remain in the same dimension of life 2Cor. 5:17. When one becomes a member of the kingdom of God, he is transformed into greatness Deu. 28:13; Mat. 5:13-14. But there is the process to experience the transformation to greatness. We understand from the life of every great story in the kingdom that encounter with God is basic to experience the transformation into greatness Gen. 12:1-4; 24:1.

Learning from those who had encounters with God in scriptures.

1. Every genuine encounter with God provides access to the path of life.

The path of life refers to the way a believer will follow that will place him on the highways of life Deu. 32:9-14. The scriptures show us that encounter with God will give the believer access to the path of life Psa. 16:11.

2. One encounter with God turned Jacob to a nation.

Jacob received the blessing of Abraham though his father Isaac, but was still struggling Gen. 27:28-29. When he has encounter with God, he was turned from a struggling man into a nation Gen. 32:28-31.

3. Divine encounters occur wherever God chooses.

One can only experience an encounter with God in the place divine appointed by God for it Deu. 12:13-18. Shiloh is one of such appointed place today Jos. 18:1.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, Shiloh 2023 shall be my mountain of encounter with God that will make me to return with a new name from God 1Sam. 3:21.

Action.

Be determined not to miss Shiloh 2023, more importantly to have encounter with God.
