Scripture makes us to understand that obedience is a kingdom force, with potency stronger than that of sacrifice 1Sam. 15:22. Sacrifice can make sudden turnaround happen in any life Psa. 126:1-6. It means obedience will deliver result that is greater. The good thing is that the commandments of God are not burdensome 1Jn. 5:3. Therefore, no reason is tenable with God for disobedience 1Sam. 15:12,21,24.
Scriptural Understanding that Empowers for Obedience.
- Obedience Invokes God’s Manifest Presence.
The manifest presence of God is the master key to the world of noiseless breakthroughs Psa. 114:1-8. Obedience guarantees the manifestation of God’s presence Jn. 14:21; Deu. 28:1-13.
- Obedience Secures Supply of all our Needs.
Obedience to God’s commandment is gateway to having all our needs in life met Deu. 28:1-13. By simply obeying what God says, one is delivered from pursuing after things Mat. 6:33.
- The Example of the Widow of Zarephath.
Obedience brought the widow of Zarephath into realms of supernatural supplies in the time of famine 1Kgs. 17:8-15. The instruction was absurd, but she obeyed and she came under an open heaven.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father, I receive the empowerment of the Holy Spirit for strict and delightsome obedience to your instruction from now Ezk. 36:27.
Action.
Go ahead and carry any of God’s instruction you have neglected!
